Here in Western North Carolina, someone is always making something that becomes an heirloom.

Wood

Crafter's Camera explores the woodworkers of Western North Carolina β€” furniture makers, carvers, and chainsaw artists who transform Blue Ridge timber into lasting pieces. Each story follows the hands behind the grain: how a tree becomes a bowl, a beam becomes a chair, a block becomes art. We document the tools, techniques, and patience this craft demands, and the mountain workshops where it all happens. Discover the makers turning wood into heritage, one piece at a time.

The Crafters part of the website is organized by craft category (Wood, Metal, Food, Pottery/Glass, Fiber, WNC), each with its own page. As episodes are produced, the YouTube video will be posted into its matching category page alongside a short intro of the crafter using a fixed template. WATCH US GROW 😊
